Hey friend! I’m Michelle—the science-loving, chaos-managing, time-saving brain behind EzPz Science and your new next-door teacher bestie who just gets it.

With over 20 years in education as a middle school science teacher, instructional coach, and curriculum writer, I’ve seen it all!

I started designing activities that were creative, classroom-tested, and easy to use because classroom magic happens when lessons are fun for students and simple for teachers.

I love that lightbulb moment that happens in the classroom- the click you see and feel when a student “gets it”, but for me, the real win is helping fellow science teachers feel confident, creative, and a little more excited to walk into the classroom each day.

Throughout my career, one thing has never changed: my belief that science should be fun. If it’s not… we’re doing it wrong.

I believe the perfect formula for learning is simple:

I’m passionate about helping teachers bring science to life with creative, classroom-ready resources that don’t just check the boxes, they actually work.

When I’m not whipping up fun, creative science lessons or testing out another idea to make teaching easier, I’m probably doing one of the following: cheering wildly at a Houston Cougar basketball game, binge-watching rom-coms or Hallmark Christmas movies with my teenage daughter (yes, we know how they’ll end and we love them anyway), or daydreaming about my next cruise adventure when I’ll plan a seaside nap with crashing waves as my soundtrack.

I’m a proud wife, a cheer mom, and an expert in squeezing in snack breaks between lesson planning and fairy garden-making. My backyard is my happy place—filled with succulents, tiny garden gnomes, a hammock, and all the peaceful vibes a science teacher needs.

Oh, and I rescued a baby squirrel named Wally. Now I’m that person…yes, the crazy squirrel lady. No regrets.

So whether you’re here for tips, laughs, or science-y inspiration, I’m so glad you stopped by. This blog isn’t just about teaching, it’s about building a community, supporting each other, and making the chaos of middle school science a little more fun (and a lot more doable).
